This is one of the best Q&A’s I’ve ever participated in, great job by Ndimakazi Mabala. I only wish that pictures of me and two different male rappers didn’t illustrate the article (not the writer’s decision, obviously).
I barely talk abt Jay in the interview and don’t mention Big. The pictures send the message that I am only important as I’m related to these two men. I was being published as a writer before either of them recorded a single song. Also, there are plenty of other of other rapper friends I’ve been photographed with if I’m only important next to male rappers. Sigh.
